All That Glitters

Here’s my progress on Midi 2. I love the colors in this so far. I feel like it is kind of slow going, but I am stitching away on it. Allergies are getting me today, so it will probably be an early night. I am almost done with the center motif in the gold. Then, I will be able to move down to the bottom and sides. I like to leave all the specialty stitches and backstitching until last. I will probably wait to add my beads and crystals on until later. We’ll see how it goes.

I’ve been sort of on a mission today to find a blog that deals with not only fashion, but also interior design, etc. Sort of like a Style blog…no such luck. You’d think with all these people watching Project Runway and Design Star that such a thing would exist. But, I haven’t found what I’m looking for. I did find this though.

OPI’s Decades of Shades from their new collection. How perfectly Autumn is this? Love it. Now, if only it wasn’t 8,000 degrees outside.

I am grateful for the internet.

  1. Happy belated birthday! How did you get the “shiny” to show up … that scanned or w/a camera? I can NEVER do that. :o)

  2. Oooh nice nail polish! I love that brand – it just stays on forever (It’s what my old beautician used to use on my toes and it never chipped).

Midi II is looking beautiful too. I don’t remember if I said Happy Birthday to you Michelle, but it looks like you had a great day and that is what counts.

  3. I love OPI, they have the greatest colors. I really like the one on your blog, I think I will have to get it as Autumn is my favorite season. It was 56 degrees here in NH this morning and I was all excited b/c I thought that meant I could wear my new jacket/coat. Wrong. Too warm for it. Bummer. I guess I will have to wait until it is really Autumn.

MM looks awesome. I love the colors and the sparklies. Ann.

  4. Come on up to NH, we will be having about 67 degrees tomorrow! I prefer your 8,000 degrees…. I love summer, and that is pretty much the only season I love.

Your progress looks fast on Midi II – congratulations!
