Thanks to Nicki‘s tip, I was able to purchase the Beatrix Potter Sampler from Em-Li’s. I also purchased Sarah Moon. Both charts are beautiful. I am so happy to have them! And speaking of stash, I am expecting my last three sheep blankets any day now. I’m hoping that any threads I need for April that I don’t already have will be easily picked up at my LNS, so that I can get a quick start on that one.
I’ve made some more progress on Baby Garden. I am completely finished with band 1, and am zipping along on band 2. Band 2 ends after the baby’s name is stitched over one. I’m working on the flower band right above that. I just love Nan’s bees and butterflies that she includes on her charts…they just really bring the garden to life.
Tonight I plan to stitch on my HAED Water ACEO. It will be fun to get back to it. I will get to start on row two tonight. What a treat! At some point I will have to stitch on this for longer stretches if I want to finish it this year. It’s cool to see it come to life though, and is such a change from the Just Nans.
Walk to Rivendell: Wood more dense, and lane went lower, running in a fold of hills, with hazel on the slopes alongside. Pippin quickly becomes sleepy. (Total miles walked: 44)
I am grateful for change.
