Birthday, Part 2

This is what I came home to last night. Aren’t they beautiful?! My sweet husband made me dinner and then, after we had birthday cake he presented me with this…

…an iPod. I am so excited! Now I can be all high-tech and stuff. So, all in all it was a fabulous birthday. My girlfriends took me out to lunch today, and I have so enjoyed reading all of the birthday wishes that you all left in the comments! Thank you so much! No, stitching pics today, but I’ve made a little more progress on Midi 2. I hope to have a good progress pic for you tomorrow. Tonight we’ve spent looking over our calendars and trying to plan times to get together with friends and family over the next couple of months. We have a trip planned to Chicago in September, so our calendar is getting pretty booked up. But we did some brainstorming on things we still need to do around the house to make it presentable for guests and not like we just moved in (since we’ve been here almost five months). So, although I have no stitching news for you today…I’ve had a fun couple of days! My Ghoulies and Ghosties class doesn’t require pre-stitching (in fact they prefer you don’t), so I’ve made a new start on a travel project. I am so bad. I’ve made a very small start on my Queen of the Needle piece. Well, that’s it for today. Thanks again for making me feel so special on my birthday! I appreciate it.

I am grateful for great ideas.

  2. Wow! What a wonderful birthday; I’m so glad you had a fantastic day. You’ve been spoiled quite nicely by your DH. Well done!

  3. Belated Happy birthday wishes to you Michelle! I didn’t realize it was your birthday! Your hubby must be really romantic! He sure did some wonderful things for you! That is awesome. I haven’t gotten as much done on my Queen of the Needle as I should but have been trying to get over a summer cold. I hope to something up soon. Debby

  4. What wonderful b-day gifts! I wish my DBF could be as creative! He gets me what I ask for or someting for framing (which I don’t really want for a b-day present!)

  5. Happy Birthday Michelle! Sounds like it was wonderful! You will adore your ipod, I can’t live without mine. What a wonderful DH!

  6. Oh, you got an ipod! That is so cool! I have one and it is the best thing. What an awesome present. I am glad you had a great birthday. The flowers are so pretty too. Ann.

  7. The flowers are so pretty. What kind of music do you like? The ipod is a great gift. My DH just gave me the Nano version of ipod. It’s great for using when I exercise. Enjoy!
