It arrived! ONS #3 actually had it in stock and had the fabric in stock, and sent it to me! Hurrah!!! And a big thank you to Carol for all your help! I just love this design so much. But, I have definitely learned my lesson about these Loose Feathers designs – strike while the iron is hot.
I also had a finish today – Quaker Hedgehog. This is a freebie from The Workbasket. I stitched mine in Silk ‘n Colors Rusty Amber on 32ct. Oyster Linen. I loved Jo‘s idea of turning him into a pincushion. So, here he is – ready for pins! I loved stitching on this little guy. The thread I chose had such lovely autumnal shades in it.

I am grateful for the health of my husband and my heart goes out to a coworker who lost her husband on Monday.
Glad you got the BD chart and fabric 🙂
Your pincushion is really cute!
It’s a lovely chart and I can see why you would be excited to get it. Look forward to seeing your WIP piccys.
Another Loose Feathers addict, I see! 🙂 I have Moon Garden kitted up and ready to go too… I may start it after I finish Quaker Garden. Your QG is looking gorgeous btw!
I just totally went and yoinked that free hedgehog design 🙂
Moon Garden looks verrry interesting! Will be watching for your progress pics on this one. 😀
Hi Michelle, thanks for stopping by my blog 🙂 Enjoy your new stash.
Congratulations on your finish he’s so cute! Thanks for including the link to the file… downloaded it ASAP.
Congrats on finding new stash! I do love that design!
Wow, that’s a beautiful design! I’m glad that you were able to get your hands on it. I’m going to sit on mine in order to resist the temptation to order it. 😉
Very nice stash aquisition there. 🙂 Cute hedgehog too.
That’s a lovely Loose Feathers. I’ve only discovered them recently so I too have a lot of searching to do to try and find some of the back issues!
Thanks for your comments on my blog by the way 🙂
Congrats on getting Moon Garden! What a treat! I bet you will be starting that one right away!
I adore your little pincushion! That hedgehog is a great pattern – I have seen him stitched up often on blogs…. maybe I should do him too??
Ooh that chart looks nice.
Your hedgehog pincushion looks great. I’ve stitched that too, so must get round to making it up at some stage.
I’m glad you found Moon Garden. I would have felt so responsible if you didn’t get it. OTOH, if I had known you were looking…
