Hi all! I have to apologize for being a bit absent on the blog the past few days as well as being behind on replying to emails and reading blogs. Eric had surgery this morning. He is doing just fine and has been at home resting today. I appreciate all of the lovely comments you have been leaving, while I’ve been slacking off on the posting. But, today…back to the stitching! First, though, I have to share that I received my Lady Scarlet’s Secret Garden piece that I pre-ordered from the Silver Needle. I just love this piece. Once Jenna and I finish our SAL on Lady Scarlet (the original Lady Scarlet), perhaps we will move right on to this cute piece. Barnabee must be finished first though!
I’ve also managed to get a fair bit done on Baby Garden the past couple of days. I finished up the flower band, charted and stitched the name band, and am almost finished with the grass. I blurred out the name band, obviously, but you get the idea. The name is stitched over one, and thank goodness for that, because it is almost to both edges!! I just love love love this piece, it is so fun to stitch on. The next row has the over one goldfish pond, which should be fun. I am figuring that if I can stitch two bands a week, I should be able to finish it by the end of April. Is anyone other than me snorting at the impossibility of that????
I still need to finish up my RR piece, and it is close to being done. I can’t wait to get Arthemise’s RR, she chose to do Just Nan’s Twelve Days of Christmas ornaments – so it should be a fun one too! Well, that is all the news I have for today. Thanks for being patient with me while I was off doing other things. I will probably stitch some more on Baby Garden tonight and see how far I can get. It’s amazing how much stitching you can get done when you’re home!

Did you get my email the other day regarding the pullware for Lady Scarlet’s Journey? I think I’m going to have Drema go ahead and put the order in for mine, just so I make sure I get it. I would suggest that you email her and ask her to order it for you, as well.

I’ve been awol for a bit, but trying to catch up now and I’m LOVING all your finishes and totally jealous of all your purchases! My credit card is still stuggling with the recent punishment I gave it, lol
My leanne’s house first installment arrived this week so I’m itching to get going with that too.
