Marigolds and Clover

Thank you for all your comments on my two finishes. I am still pleased to have finished them! I am now working on the piece for my biscornu exchange, but have found out ~twice~ that I can’t count. Sigh. Last night was Barnabee’s Quest SAL night. I just love this piece. It is so colorful and enjoyable to stitch on.

I stitched the band of Marigolds, the band of hungry birds and their worms, and got about halfway finished with the Clover patch. There are two more bands underneath that in part 1. I am probably going to wait until the whole thing is finished before I add on any of the beads and things. I did manage to find a place that had the pullware for this piece in stock. Isn’t it beautiful?!

I didn’t have any luck finding the bee skep tassle topper, but I was more concerned with getting the pullware. A plain tassel would work fine, or even one with a little bee charm attached.

I have lots of errands to run and puttering around the house I need to do today. I still haven’t had time to work on my framing of Winter Snapperland, nor get my dowel stained for First Snow. Hopefully both of those will happen today. I am so excited that I will be starting on Part 8 of Mystery 9 tonight. Something other than triangles will be wonderful! Hope you all have a fantastic weekend! And don’t forget to visit Jenna‘s new ONS, One Star’s Light. Jenna has worked so hard to get her new business up and running and it looks fantastic!

Walk to Rivendell: Keep a stone’s throw left of the road…slower going. (Total Miles walked: 36.5)

I am grateful that today Hamlet gets to leave solitary confinement. I miss my boy!
