Sapphire

Baby Garden 022707

Thanks for the well-wishes for tomorrow. I am sure it will all go ok. I am also sure that you are probably tired of seeing my slower than molasses progress on my current projects. Not a whole lot of stitching done on Monday night, because of the whole afternoon fiasco. Last night, I was back to class…so no stitching last night. But, I managed to work on tree number 2 a little bit, and finish off tree number 1. I did finish reading Snow Country, by Yasunari Kawabata, for my book club that is on March 9th. It was good. It is about a geisha, and is going to be tied in with the Ukiyo-e exhibit that they have going on at the museum right now. I am looking forward to the discussion. I can’t believe how far in advance I finished this. Usually, I am rushing to get my books read. I’ve started reading Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone, because I want to re-read all six books before the last one comes out. That is actually one of the items on my 101 Things list.

I finished up my travel project today also, so I can get started on my biscornu exchange piece for the Friends Gather Bulletin Board. I’ll be sure to post a photo of my finish tomorrow. But, for now…I received one of my bonus check goodies in the mail today.

Nativity Fabric

This is fabric from Heaven Lee Creations for the Nativity. The color is called Sapphire. I have been wanting this fabric for a couple of years now, so I am glad to finally have it! It really is gorgeous in person.

I am grateful for finishing things.

  1. That fabric is a gorgeous colour – no wonder you are so thrilled with it! Best of luck for tomorrow and hoping for a painless IV start.

Hi! I saw the material on your web site for the Nativity…that is going to be so pretty…are you doing the Nativity from Mar Bek? If you are I can send you my re-written instructions for all fice panels. The original Pattern has several mistakes in it so if you want my re-written instructions let me know.
