Sapphire

Baby Garden 022707

Thanks for the well-wishes for tomorrow. I am sure it will all go ok. I am also sure that you are probably tired of seeing my slower than molasses progress on my current projects. Not a whole lot of stitching done on Monday night, because of the whole afternoon fiasco. Last night, I was back to classโ€ฆso no stitching last night. But, I managed to work on tree number 2 a little bit, and finish off tree number 1. I did finish reading Snow Country, by Yasunari Kawabata, for my book club that is on March 9th. It was good. It is about a geisha, and is going to be tied in with the Ukiyo-e exhibit that they have going on at the museum right now. I am looking forward to the discussion. I canโ€™t believe how far in advance I finished this. Usually, I am rushing to get my books read. Iโ€™ve started reading Harry Potter and the Sorcererโ€™s Stone, because I want to re-read all six books before the last one comes out. That is actually one of the items on my 101 Things list.

I finished up my travel project today also, so I can get started on my biscornu exchange piece for the Friends Gather Bulletin Board. Iโ€™ll be sure to post a photo of my finish tomorrow. But, for nowโ€ฆI received one of my bonus check goodies in the mail today.

Nativity Fabric

This is fabric from Heaven Lee Creations for theย Nativity. The color is called Sapphire. I have been wanting this fabric for a couple of years now, so I am glad to finally have it! It really is gorgeous in person.

I am grateful for finishing things.

  3. That fabric is a gorgeous colour – no wonder you are so thrilled with it! Best of luck for tomorrow and hoping for a painless IV start.

Hi! I saw the material on your web site for the Nativity…that is going to be so pretty…are you doing the Nativity from Mar Bek? If you are I can send you my re-written instructions for all fice panels. The original Pattern has several mistakes in it so if you want my re-written instructions let me know.

You can see the Nativity by Mar Bek that I did on my web site.

    Take care & Happy Stitching,
