For the second half of our Valentine’s Day celebration, I took Eric to see Cirque du Soleil’s Corteo. It was fabulous. If you have never had the opportunity to go see them perform, try to do so. Every show I have been to (this was my fourth) has been amazing. In fact, I think I might even say this show was my favorite. I have seen Dralion, Alegria, Varekai and now Corteo. It was a wonderful afternoon. And Eric bought me a program as a souvenir.
Last night I stitched on Barnabee’s Quest for our SAL. I just love this piece.
I have the border of Part 1 all done (except the beads), the Summer Sunrise band, Bee Skep Lane and the Field of Lavender. I recently stitched the lavender fields on one of my Just Nan RR pieces. Such dainty little flowers. I am really enjoying stitching on this and taking my time with it. Tomorrow I am back to the RR, and Barnabee will wait until Friday again.
That’s about all the news that’s fit to print, so I’ll be off now. I definitely needed a wonderful afternoon like we enjoyed today. I feel much more relaxed!
Walk to Rivendell: no walking yesterday because my knees were bothering me….just weights.
I am grateful for Paris and the inspiration it provides.
