I have officially been blogging one year today. What encouraged me to start blogging was two things: as I already mentioned, I started my 101 Things list on June 21, 2006 and one of the items on there was “research starting a blog”, well I just ended up starting one instead; the second thing that encouraged me was that I was going to begin a SAL on Quaker Garden hosted by Karen V. and I wanted to be able to post my progress. So, a big thank you to Karen for her inspiration and for being one of my first commenters (possibly the first). I really appreciate each and every one of you that comes to my blog and takes a look at my projects and thoughts and goals. Thank you!! I think that all of those WIPs I mentioned in my first post are still WIPs though. Oh well…one of these days I’ll have them finished!
As for what I have planned for the weekend, the photo above sums it up. That’s my craft table, mess that it is. I plan to go get help for the Star Wars scarf today and finish it. I plan to figure out the problem with my kimonos and finish putting together that quilt top. I also plan to finish gridding my Neighborhood RR and start on my block. Wish me luck!! I’m off to sew a little before lunch, and then after lunch I’m off to the yarn store. Thanks again for supporting me this past year, and I look forward to another year of blogging.
I am grateful for my blogging friends.
