Thank you so much for tuning in to the Cozyegg flosstube/podcast! In this episode I share a look back at my 2020 finishes and my focus projects for 2021. Music: BenSound
Goals for 2021
I’ve chosen four pieces to focus on finishing this year. One per quarter seemed like it made sense.
- Sarah Ann Banton – Cozyegg Designs
- Hannah Tingey – The Scarlett House
- His Eye is on the Sparrow – Heartstring Samplery
- Black’d Skie – Primitive Needle
WIPs

Christmas Celebration Sampler by Frosted Pumpkin Stitchery – DMC and GAST on 32ct linen

Hannah Tingey 1823 by The Scarlett House – called for NPI silks on 40ct Buttercream by Lakeside. SAL with Kristie from Crosshatch Quilts

Sarah Ann Banton 1833 by Cozyegg Designs (the reproduction) – AVAS Soie d’Alger on 40ct Weeks Putty. My January 1st start and a SAL with Tudor Rose Sampler Guild

Black’d Skie by The Primitive Needle – Pure Palette & SNC silks on 40ct Vintage Pear by Lakeside – replaced Sedona Hills for the alphabet with AVAS 4614. I started block five but also finished the top border (not shown).
Plans
Focusing on Sarah Ann Banton and Black’d Skie as my #dark13stitching piece

Fully finishing my two sabbat pieces by The Primitive Hare so I can enjoy them (Imbolc and Ostara).

Kit up and stitch Beltane freebie by The Primitive Hare before May

Books

I finished reading A Court of Thorns and Roses in December. Re-reading this series and it might be even better the second time around. Soooo good.

I started the next book, A Court of Mist and Fury, on January 1st and fully took advantage of my vacation.
I’ve picked Murder on the Orient Express back up after abandoning it awhile back and restarted it. Thoroughly enjoying it this time.

And as soon as I finish that, I have the next Sarah J. Maas book to dive into.

You do have some lovely samplers, including your own reproduction!
The Frosted Pumpkin is a departure in style though!
I love those Primitive Hare Sabbath designs, I have got as far as pulling up the charts for them but not started yet.
