Thank you so much for tuning in to the Cozyegg podcast! In this episode I share my first finished shawl, my 2016 stitching plan, and some wonderful gifts I received.

My plan this year is to focus on a few projects and trying to get them done, so I chose ten and put them into a little box and on January 1 I chose the first one. My plan is to draw a project, focus on it until it’s done, and then draw another one. As luck would have it, the first one I pulled was Hare Pyns and as you can see below, I was able to finish that up relatively quickly.
Finishes:

Yowza Weigh It Shawl by Susan B. Anderson – using Miss Babs Yowza in the Zombie Prom colorway and size 8 Signature circulars. Finished on 12/31/15

Hare Pyns (you can see more photos here) by Patrick’s Woods

EGA Nametag and Tudor Rose Sampler Guild Nametag
WIPs:

After finishing up Hare Pyns, I pulled my next focus project out of the box. So, Anniversaries of the Heart came back out to play.

Anniversaries of the Heart by Blackbird Designs – I’m currently on the March block called A Wish for You; stitched on 40ct Vintage Examplar by Lakeside Linens with (mostly) the called for GAST and Crescent Colors threads

Mistake Rib Scarf by Purl Soho – yarn is Lion Brand Homespun in color 338 Nouveau and I’m knitting with Size 10 Addi Turbos
Stash Enhancement:

Erin Condren Good to Go Life Planner – I’m very excited about this!
Reading:

Finished A Discovery of Witches by Deborah Harkness in December.

I am grateful for being a knitter!
First podcast I ever watched. I love the idea of a project roulette box/jar. Great job on your nametags and shawl. I’m looking forward to seeing your Anniversaries of the Heart progress. I just picked up mine recently and finished my March block yesterday, which I modified. Still need to post. I started the May block last night and am enjoying this project again. I had put mine aside due to the over one stitching on 40 count but it wasn’t too bad.
