Tombstone Spots by The Primitive Needle – Weeks on 40ct Affogato by Fiber on a Whim. Started this on the only Friday the 13th of the year with Emily C. for #dark13stitching. (Fabric color on the left is more accurate.)
Moon Sicke by The Primitive Needle. My own silk conversion on 40ct Duxbury by Fox & Rabbit. Stitching it monthly on the full moon. This month I stitched while enjoying watching Our Flag Means Death. (Again, fabric color on the left is more accurate.)

Miscellaneous Stuff I’m Loving
I started a new course with Professor of Words on the A Court of Thorns and Roses series and it has been so good. Lots of great discussion. We’ve now delved into the Crescent City series as well.
She is also doing a series on some great Science Fiction films. I’m really looking forward to signing up for Blade Runner and Dune.
If you haven’t watched the HBO series Our Flag Means Death, you need to. It’s so good. I’ve already starting watching it a second time.
Dracula Daily – the book is emailed to you in real time based on the dates of the letters and diary entries. And the intros to each entry are hilarious summaries.
Plans
I’d like to get Mary Snow finished this month, and I’m contemplating the start of another swan sampler. This is Mary Ann Aldred by Needlework Press. She was an exclusive kit through the Homespun Needlework Facebook group that was passed along to me when a friend finished stitching it. Looking forward to this one.
Reading
Continuing on with my Black Dagger Brotherhood/Fallen Angels readalong with Annette, I’ve finished Rapture, Lover at Last, Possession, The King, Immortal (the last in the Fallen Angels series), The Shadows, and The Beast.
I’ve also now brought in another crossover series by J.R. Ward, Black Dagger Legacy. I’ve finished Blood Kiss and Blood Vow, the first two in that series. I’ve really enjoyed these a lot.
My current read is The Chosen, book 15 in the Black Dagger Brotherhood series.
I realize that is a ridiculous amount of books, but it’s been almost two months since I recorded, so… Plus, with my hand injury, reading was about all I could do for awhile.
