Product Description
Lie Light is the first in a series of tombstone angel designs and features a verse adapted by Mark Twain from a poem by Robert Richardson. The adapted verse reads:
Warm summer sun,
Shine kindly here,
Warm southern wind,
Blow softly here.
Green sod above,
Lie light, lie light.
Good night, dear heart,
Good night, good night.
The model was stitched using Fisherman’s Wharf by Gentle Arts Sampler Threads on 40 count Eastwick by Needle & Flax. The chenille trim is by Lady Dot Creates in the color Olive. The beautiful handcrafted board was generously provided by Homestead Needleworkes. The stitch count for the design is 100w x 140h.
